Description : Redesigning an existing building does not always require a radical alteration of its current state—an approach that often leads to higher costs and results that may not be fully satisfactory. However, with an artistic touch, it is possible to craft a new and modern design by proposing an envelope for the existing structure. This can be achieved at a lower cost using contemporary parametric architecture techniques.
Such an approach enhances the building’s beauty and elegance while also supporting the project’s sustainability vision. The proposed envelope reduces thermal exchange with the exterior, minimizes the impact of direct sunlight and wind, and improves the building’s overall energy efficiency.
