The study began with an analysis of the area’s unique natural and urban characteristics, with the aim of understanding its current challenges and making the most of its distinctive environmental and geographical assets.
The proposal focuses on managing urban growth, enhancing land-use efficiency, and developing infrastructure and services, while preserving the local identity and natural character that distinguish Wadi Barada.
A planning vision that seeks to achieve a balance between community needs and sustainable development, creating an area that is more efficient, organized, and capable of accommodating future growth, while preserving its environmental and urban values.
